このたび、2025年大阪・関西万博「オーストラリア館」のレセプションパーティーにご招待いただき、参加させていただきました。

「Chasing the Sun－太陽の大地へ」をテーマに、オーストラリア館では、豊かな自然、明るく創造的な人びと、そして6万年以上の歴史を持つアボリジニ文化など、多様で持続可能な価値観が美しく表現されていました。

私たちの企業理念である「エシカル」に深く共鳴する、自然との共生や資源の再利用といった取り組みに感銘を受けました。

当日は、アボリジニ・カミラロイ族のアーティスト、スティーブン・ホガース（バーヤマ）氏によるテキスタイルデザインのグッズも頂きました。オーストラリアの大地と太陽を感じさせる、力強く美しいデザインに心を動かされました。

未来への希望をつなぐこの万博の舞台で、オーストラリア館が発信するメッセージを多くの方に感じていただければと思います。

【Announcement】

We were honored to be invited to the reception party at the Australia Pavilion of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.

With the theme “Chasing the Sun”, the pavilion beautifully showcases Australia’s rich natural landscapes, its vibrant and creative people, and the world’s oldest continuous culture—the Aboriginal heritage dating back over 60,000 years.

We were especially inspired by the pavilion’s strong commitment to sustainability, including its use of repurposed materials from past international events. These initiatives deeply resonate with our company’s core philosophy of ethical and sustainable business practices.

We were also gifted a textile item designed by Stephen Hogarth, an Aboriginal Kamilaroi artist. His work evokes the powerful imagery of the Australian sun and land, and carries with it a profound cultural narrative.

It was a meaningful experience to witness how the Australia Pavilion is sharing a message of connection, harmony, and sustainability with the world.
